Letter: No magic solution to job creation

To the editor:

I read with interest that Richard Tisei has a magic six-point plan to create jobs in the 6th Congressional District (“A six-point jobs plan for the 6th District,” May 10). Our present congressman, John Tierney, has not been able to create jobs because he doesn’t perform magic tricks, just tries his best to work in a Congress that wants the president and the Democratic Party to fail so that Republicans might win the next election! There is no magic, Mr. Tisei, just a willingness to do what is best for the nation, which members of his own party in Congress are unwilling to do, and that’s the reason we still are not at full employment, period!
