He agrees with Salvo's letter

To the editor:

Re: “We’ve seen the story before,” a letter by Anthony Salvo of Salem.

I thank Mr. Salvo for his writing the letter. He beat me to it!

I agree with his presentation of our present political situation with the growth and aura of time of Germany’s Nazi-ism. (What about Italy’s and Russia and others?) I sense the same happenings.

I would like to point a specific characteristic of such a culture –– call it what one would. To me, the appearance of propaganda, sabotage and saboteurs established to divide and rule the “establishment” to be taken over and destroyed is too evident to me!

Educate yourself! Look up the underworld words in a good dictionary for their definitions. Compare them to what is going on in the United States of America. Are you in the scene? Are you familiar with our Constitution? Try it.

My above response to Mr. Salvo’s letter in my view as a World War II veteran, a reader of much of the history of that era, is a very well-written description of what we are experiencing. Many things caused this writing to be days later than I had intended.

A response to Mr. Salvo’s letter, printed in The Salem News, is to me, evidence of the “aura” that is so well-grown within the U.S. of America.

Let us all think a lot about the culture, the aura, that we, as Americans, want. I want one based upon the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

Thank you, Salem News, for printing the letters.

Think.
