Letter: No need for another plaza in Beverly

To the editor:

Another shopping plaza in North Beverly? Please, say it isn’t so! The traffic up here is already terrible and getting worse by the week. Route 1A is a parking lot from Henry’s Market to the Wenham line. Now they want to put more of the same over on Brimbal Avenue.

When is enough, enough? North Beverly has become the shopping destination for Wenham, where they had the good sense to zone out such commercial sprawl. New tax revenue is the excuse. But the cost of maintaining the added services and infrastructure negates any new revenue.

Stick a fork in it and call North Beverly “done.”
