Letter: Rand a positive, balanced voice

To the editor:

I may be in Ward 3, but the goings on in Ward 2 are just as important to me. I’ve been in Beverly for nine years and there are few voices that represent my ideals as well as Estelle Rand. Her goals — developing a vibrant waterfront that supports mixed uses including recreation and commercial fishing, ensuring a positive Rantoul Street reconstruction experience, creating progress in downtown Beverly, and perhaps most importantly, engaging community involvement — are my goals.

I’ve gotten to know Estelle through various community and environmental projects and appreciate her fair and balanced voice, grace, and diplomacy. She is incredibly dedicated, organized, and brings positive energy to all efforts. Let’s catch this star on her rise where she will shine a great light on Ward 2 and all of downtown Beverly.
