Thanks: Clinic took good care of feline friend

To the editor:

In our busy times when so many people are impersonal, I'd like to commend Dr. Dana MacNamee and the entire staff at Bay State Animal Clinic for making a difficult time much easier.

I'd had my cat, Crackers, for 11 years, throughout which she had various medical problems.

During the past year, Crackers' health had been failing.

The last week in November, I brought her to Dr. MacNamee because she was in a lot of pain. He spent so much time with me and advised me about my decision to euthanize her.

Her passing was very peaceful. Dr. MacNamee gave my pet the same dignity in death as he did when he treated her over the years.

Everyone who works in that office was so kind and understanding and truly made me feel very special.

There are no words to express my thanks and gratitude to the entire staff.
