Letter: On Syria, two wrongs don't make a right

To the editor:

Two wrongs do not make a right. If President Bashar Assad did kill some of his own innocent citizens with gas, does this justify the United States dropping bombs on Syria for sure to also kill innocents in the process? This is a civil war between a dictator and revolutionaries, some of whom are alleged to be al-Qaida. No matter who wins this war they will not be friends of America and would we even want them to be?

This is another example of poking a bee hive and we’re bound to get stung.
