Letter: Salem is full of beauty

To the editor:

I walk through Salem, and there are hidden treasures that are really not hidden at all; just pause to take in the beauty of the vibrant, bright displays of flowers and greenery.

Salem is blessed with a Beautification Committee, the Salem Garden Club, and many wonderful volunteers whose main mission is to create both pride and motivation with our diverse population of merchants and residents to color and paint our city in a beautiful way.

The beauty provides a sense of tranquility to all, whether a resident or a visitor. All attributed to the hard work of so many that the list would be endless. The promotion of our city not only creates pride, but also a sense of who we are — Salem, a diverse city where beauty blossoms.
