Letter: Thanksgiving is a day to hold close to our hearts

(Continued)

If you find yourself with not much to do on Thanksgiving or any other holiday, you may want to offer your time at a homeless shelter or a food pantry. Or maybe you could pay a visit to a nursing home and visit someone that has no family left.

In the end, you would be happy for all you accomplished that day. And everyone around you would be thankful. You may not get your shopping done, but don’t worry, the mall is still open 362 days a year.

Happy Thanksgiving!
