Letter: Thankful for a chance to meet voters

To the editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the voters of Peabody for their support in this past election. Having entered the race late as a first-time candidate, with a staff of basically my wife and I, and raising just under $900, (the lowest amount of those who actively fundraised), 1,200 votes was a pretty promising result. I truly enjoyed the experience of getting to know the voters of Peabody and to talk with them about the issues that concerned them. I look forward to the chance to do it again.
