Thanks: Peabody family grateful for help and prayers

To the editor:

Paul DiMarino was in a car accident on June 1, 2009. He is doing well and continues to make great strides in the recovery process. At this time we would like to thank all the persons involved in his recovery.

We would like to thank the Topsfield Fire and Police departments, MedFlight personnel, Lyons Ambulance, Beverly Hospital ER, and the Boston Medical Center staff for their quick response that morning. Your prompt and attentive care not only saved a life, but also kept our family unit intact.

We realize that timing was everything and everyone involved were instrumental in saving his life. We will always hold each of you within a special place in our hearts.

Thank you to all the many doctors, nurses and therapists who have been involved in the recovery process. Without your dedication and expertise, Paul would not be where he is today.

We would also like to thank all our family and friends, including our neighbors, Nick's fifth-grade class, the SMA and HWRHS Communities, our work communities, the sporting communities that our children participate in, and the entire North Shore community. Your unwavering help and support was a constant and welcoming relief for us at such a difficult time. The thoughts and prayers that came our way were very powerful, to say the least.

We owe so many so much. Thank you seems so inadequate, but at this time that is all we can do. So thanks for your generous support whether it came in the form of your professional expertise, driving services, kids play dates, phone calls, Web-site entries, cards, gifts or the wonderful food. We truly appreciated all the support and we thank all of you from our hearts.

The DiMarino Family
