To the editor:
A funny thing happened on the way to Barbara Anderson’s dismal articles about how bad everything is in America because taxes are too high for her wealthy friends!
The stock market is a pretty good indicator of the direction of our economy, and that’s all positive. The last segment to benefit after a recession is employment, and slowly, that’s beginning to show signs of life. So life is starting to get a little bit better for those who don’t live with silver spoons in their mouths — you know, people who try to work for a living, not off dividends and capital gains like the Mitt Romneys and others in his strata.
