Letter: Cole keeps her word

To the editor:

I was glad to see the article on state Rep. Leah Cole (”Peabody rep surprised by help from both sides of aisle,” Jan. 21). It’s nice to have a representative who keeps their word. I met with Rep. Cole during her work with the initiative to stop the gas tax’s link to inflation and am very impressed with her thus far. It’s a shame that the Democratic City Committee chairman couldn’t have been more gracious in his comments. I and others do not care about party affiliation, but rather the person. Rep. Cole has been honest and sincere in her approach in representing the city. She is one of the finest representatives that I’ve seen in quite some time.
