Letter: Thank you to hospital community

To the editor:

On behalf of our sister, Elizabeth “Beth” (Hart) Rigney, our family would like to thank Beverly Hospital, its professional and support staff and administration for their professionalism, interminable comfort, encouragement, support and love that Beth recurrently received and experienced during her many visits and stays at the hospital.

Beginning with the amazing local ambulance services, the emergency room doctors, nurses and support staff, the inpatient doctors, nurses and all floor support staff, the loyal, gifted and kindhearted staff at Medical Day Care, to the nutritionists and their staff and even the wonderful car valet staff who always helped Beth into our cars, you touched her and our lives with love, kindness and especially understanding in a positive and compassionate way.

We will never be able to express our sincere appreciation for the kindness and caring support that Beth received from the entire Beverly Hospital community. Words cannot express the gratitude of the giving spirit, the unending comfort, devotion and dedication provided to Beth and to us during very difficult and trying times.

Our community is blessed to be serviced by Beverly Hospital and their entire staff, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
