To the editor:
In your Monday, July 26 article about measures being taken to stop the flooding in Peabody, it mentioned funneling the water from Goldthwaite Brook under Peabody Square and into the North River.
I was born in Peabody and lived there until 1973.
My memory is still pretty good, especially with the help of Google Maps, which usually works very well. This time I was referred to Goldthwaite, Texas and other places.
Will you please explain to me where Goldthwaite Brook is located?

(Editor's note: Goldthwaite (also Goldthwait) Brook runs parallel to Lynnfield Street in South Peabody from Cedar Pond through the Eastman Gelatine property and from there into Peabody Square.)
