Letter: Danvers deli provided great meals for fire victims

To the editor:

The Melrose Housing Authority recently had a small fire in one of our high-rise Elderly/Handicapped Housing buildings. The water damage from both the sprinkler system and fire hoses caused us to have to evacuate the nine-story building. Most of our residents were put up in hotels in Peabody.

While there, we provided meals for the residents.

We would like to thank Ted Kougianos and Kary Andrinopoulos of New Brothers Deli in Danvers for all of their help in providing our residents with delicious and nutritious hot meals. Our residents loved the meals. It helped make an unsettling time for them easier to deal with.
