Letter: A reminder on Chebacco Woods rules

To the editor:

Chebacco Woods has become a very popular area for people to hike, ride bikes and exercise their animals. We would like to remind all trail users that Round and Gravelly ponds are part of the public water supply for the town of Manchester. Dogs and horses are not permitted in this area as per the Department of Environmental Protection. Prohibited trails will be posted. All of the other trails on the property are open to animals. We ask that everyone respect the rules, the land and water, and others who enjoy the property. Please clean up after your pets and don’t allow them to bother others or chase wildlife. Remind others of these regulations so that the trails may remain open for years to come.

Trail maps including accepted trail uses are available at the kiosk at the main trail entrance across from Becks Pond, Chebacco Road, Hamilton.
