Pats fans: Share your photos

If you're a Patriots fan — and these days, who isn't? — The Salem News wants you to share your Patriots Pride.

As the team prepares for Super Bowl XLVI in Indy, we will publish North Shore fans' Patriots-related photos on our website. Maybe you have photos of you and your family tailgating or in the stands at a game. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones in Indianapolis this week. Or how about pics of you and your family and friends wearing your favorite players' jerseys or enjoying a televised game at home? Maybe you've actually met a Patriots player and have a photo to prove it. Or you've had your photo taken wearing one or more of their rings. If you have your house or yard — or pets — made up in Patriots decor, we want to see those photos too.

To share your Patriots Pride, email photos to localweb@salemnews.com and we'll start publishing them this week.

The win did not come without a loss, however.
The Chieftains outscored the visitors by five goals in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 15-9 victory, but a scuffle in the final minute of the game resulted in the ejection of both Masconomet midfielder Kurt Hunziker and Beverly defender Ryan Caley.

  • Beverly's Rogers outduels Salem's Curtin for shutout victory SALEM — There's little room for error for any pitcher making the first start of his varsity career.
There's even less when the guy on the mound for the other team is Cam Rogers.
Salem's Troy Curtin was called up from the JV squad yesterday to start against arch rival Beverly High. And while the junior was fantastic, Rogers was just a little bit better as the Panthers snuck out a 1-0 win over the Witches on the diamond at Salem State.
