R&L Associates Inc., a staffing firm in Beverly, has launched a Community Cares program, which allows companies that initiate new permanent business with R&L to donate a portion of the fee to charity.

The Danversbank Charitable Foundation has granted $60,000 to the Community YMCA of Danvers to purchase virtual reality competitive stationary bikes and other workout equipment.
