Heather Spinney and Brett Laidlaw

Peter and Marjorie Spinney of Gloucester are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Heather to Brett Laidlaw, son of John (Jack) and Diane Laidlaw of Wakefield.

Heather is a 1991 graduate of Hamilton Wenham Regional High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of New Hampshire in 1995 and a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University in 2000. She works at Boston Residential Group in Boston as a Property Manager.

Brett is a 1992 graduate of Wakefield High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Psychology in 1996 and a Masters degree in Engineering in 2001 from Tufts University. He works at Bose Corporation in Framingham as an Electrical Engineer.

A May 23, 2009 wedding is planned.
