February 25, 2009 06:06 pm Peter and Marjorie Spinney of Gloucester are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Heather to Brett Laidlaw, son of John (Jack) and Diane Laidlaw of Wakefield. Heather is a 1991 graduate of Hamilton Wenham Regional High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of New Hampshire in 1995 and a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University in 2000. She works at Boston Residential Group in Boston as a Property Manager. Brett is a 1992 graduate of Wakefield High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Psychology in 1996 and a Masters degree in Engineering in 2001 from Tufts University. He works at Bose Corporation in Framingham as an Electrical Engineer. A May 23, 2009 wedding is planned.
