Mr. and Mrs. James Cagney of Beverly and the late Robert Hutchinson and Mr. and Mrs. Scott McCarthy of Wakefield are pleased to announce the engagement of their children Jamie Hutchinson and Sean McCarthy.
Jamie is a graduate of Beverly High School. She is currently enrolled at Salem State College. She works at the Essex County District Attorney's Office in Lynn as a Legal Secretary.
Sean is a graduate of Beverly High School. He also graduated from Wyo Tech/Mass Fire Academy. He works for the Wenham Fire Department as a Firefighter and also at Dawson's Hardware as a Customer Service Rep.
The couple met in February of 2007 at a pizza shop through a mutual friend. They found out they knew the same people and lived only two blocks away but their paths never crossed. They started hanging out from that day on and they knew they were meant for each other.
A July 17, 2010 wedding is planned.
