BEVERLY REUNION BENEFIT. Funds will be raised for Alan D'Entremont, who remains hospitalized from a stroke, on Saturday, July 18, at 8 p.m, at Spear Post, 3 Judson St. in Beverly. MARTIN'S RIDE. A ride in honor of Martin D. Johnson Jr. of Middleton will be held on July 26 at the Gateway Pub, 339 Merrimack St., Lawrence. Suggested donation is $15 per person, with proceeds going to help Martin's 6-month-old son. This is a rain-or-shine event. The event starts at 9:30 a.m., and the ride will leave at noon sharp. HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS. VNA Care Network and Hospice, a nonprofit home health care, hospice and wellness agency, needs volunteers to provide practical and emotional support to terminally ill patients and their families on the North Shore.
