I sometimes think that he will never stop using, a thought that bothers me so much. Do you have any ideas about what he can do to stop? Going in and out of detoxes just doesn't seem to be working.
PRODUCING THE PRODUCERS: NSMT DOES IT ALL IN-HOUSE:

"The Producers" had long runs on Broadway and in Las Vegas on traditional, proscenium stages, where the audience faces the actors and vice-versa. This is just the second time it's been produced in a theater-in-the-round setting, on a circular stage, where the audience surrounds the cast on all sides.
NSMT puts on seven fully produced musicals a year and sets and props for each one must be custom-built to accommodate the theater-in-the-round design, according to Lars Nelson, production manager. For example, couches must have low backs and doors must be transparent Plexiglas so the audience -- who surrounds the stage 360 degrees -- will have unobstructed views.

Q: Three years ago my lilies were completely decimated by nasty critters. The next year I sprayed them with "neem." It does kill them but one needs to keep spraying them and the stuff is expensive. Last year I heard on Paul Parent's show about using "Bayer Tree and Shrub". It is a systemic material that is applied early in the season (just did mine). It was a miracle; not one of the critters was to be seen. You might give it a try.

Thank you notes go a long way

Q: One of my husband's clients gave him Red Sox tickets several years ago. He has not been to a game since and has wanted desperately to go. He refuses to pay the going rate through ticket brokers and decided to ask the client if he could purchase some tickets from him. Naturally, the client gave my husband four awesome tickets, three rows right behind home plate, to a recent Red Sox game and everyone had a wonderful time; they won, too! Is it appropriate to send a thank you note and thank someone again for their gift after they have enjoyed, not only in this case Red Sox tickets, but also for a gift certificate, money, etc.? My husband also sent him a gift certificate to his favorite restaurant as a "thank you" as he would not accept any money. Was this gesture over the top?

A jolt of java: For freshly roasted coffee, all you need is a corn popper and some green beans

Given Americans' love affair with coffee, it's surprising more people don't roast their own beans at home.
Not only does home roasting ensure the freshest, most splendid cup of coffee, it's also a money saver and takes just minutes to prepare enough beans for several pots.

It's got to be good for something, right?
That's the question I had about instant coffee. The answer: It might not be worth drinking, but instant coffee actually can be a quick cook's secret ingredient, effortlessly adding deep, rich layers of flavor to all manner of sweet and savory dishes.

Even if unemployed, go to networking events

Q: I was laid off recently, and certainly realize I am not alone, however, am reluctant to attend networking events because I am not working and am not sure what to say when someone asks what I do. I know I should still attend networking events, so what do you suggest I say when someone asks?

Moss can be sign of acidity in soil

Q: When looking at my garden, I find a lot of it is covered with a fine green moss. I don't want to scratch too much and dig up any plants which may not have sprouted yet. Would you try to scrape it off now or wait for warmer weather? Is this a sign of soil needing treatment?
