PEABODY — Elena Moy hasn't seen the Red Sox's pair of World Series trophies, but the owner of Buddha's Tavern will get her chance Monday at her own restaurant.
As part of the Massachusetts State Lottery Championship Tour, the gleaming duo will make a two-hour appearance at the Washington Street Chinese restaurant from 5 to 7 p.m.
"I'm so excited," she said. "I haven't had a chance to see the trophy. So now it's here."
Moy said she received a call Wednesday from Massachusetts lottery officials saying the restaurant had been chosen because of its lottery ticket sales.
"I was on top of the line," she said.
Sports fans, she and her two children welcome the flag-bearing mantelpieces to a restaurant keen on sports. Moy said the family just renovated the space, which boasts more than a dozen flat-screen TVs.
"Because I've renovated, a lot of people haven't seen it," Moy said. "It looks nice now."
The 2004 and 2007 trophies will also visit Century House on Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Supino's Restaurant in Danvers on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., according to state Lottery spokesman Dan Rosenfeld.
