Salem State in care of ex-nurse; Suffolk University administrator picked as college's next president

SALEM - The question on everyone's mind at Salem State College was answered yesterday: Yes, there is life after Nancy Harrington.

The board of trustees unanimously elected Patricia Meservey, a former nurse who is the provost and academic vice president at Suffolk University in Boston, as the college's next president. She will succeed Harrington, a Salem native whose 17-year presidency ends in June.Read this article in full with a
