Whatever plans you have for the weekend, be sure they include a trip to Salem, where lots of fun events are in store tomorrow. The Art in Bloom Flower Show is at Old Town Hall in Salem from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a fashion show staged by Signatures at the Peabody Essex Museum at 1 p.m.

"We have done this in the past, and it has been great fun for all involved," said Salem Garden Club spokeswoman Karen Jellison. Funds raised at the event will benefit the city of Salem, Fourth of July/Main Streets and the garden club.

Admission at the door is $5. Seating is limited. Please RSVP to Signatures at 978-825-0015.

r The club received plenty of support in donations for the troops in Iraq, and many people turned out to help package up boxes to send to them.
