Tufts University student Adam Raczkowski received the Class of 1947 Victor Prather Prize for research in the field of computational neuroscience and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa, Delta Chapter. He is one of 19 students in the country chosen for a scholarship award from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. He is the grandson of Dorothy Raczkowski of Salem and the late Adam Raczkowski.

Lauren Woo, a 2005 graduate of Danvers High School and a student at Yale University, is participating in the Fulbright-Hays Zulu Group Project Abroad in South Africa this summer. She will participate in eight weeks of intensive Zulu language work at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, and spend three weeks with two different South African families, one urban and one rural.

Hamilton

Jonathan Weltler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Weltler, recently graduated from Ursinus College with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science and a minor in dance.

Marblehead

Ashley Magrane, daughter of Stephen and Laurieann Magrane, was named to the dean's list at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College of Education for the fall and spring semesters. She was selected to the Honor Society for Teaching at Peabody College and is an officer of the Tennessee chapter of Best Buddies and of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. Magrane will teach in the Kampala Project in Uganda for six weeks.
