The fair has enlisted a new rodeo company this year that's sure to please the crowds with bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, bull riding and other flashy events.
The Rawhide Rodeo from Leicester, N.Y., will be more competitive than the shows of years past, according to fair organizers. The company, founded in 1987 by Sam Swearingen, produces more than 100 shows all over the United States and Canada, according to its Web site.
