Topsfield

Friday

John Partland, 39, of 6 Woodbury Drive, Beverly, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. and charged with drunken driving (third offense), driving with a suspended license (second offense), driving with a suspended registration, driving without insurance, driving with an open container and a marked lanes violation following a motor vehicle stop on Haverhill Road. Patrolman Chris Sanborn made the arrest.

Saturday

Kimberly Hutchins, 36, of 139 Locust St., Danvers, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and a marked lanes violation after a traffic stop on High Street.

Alexandra Merry, 23, of 196 Haverhill Road, Topsfield, was arrested at 3:24 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and a marked lanes violation after a traffic stop on South Main Street.

Marblehead

Thursday

Between 10 and 11 p.m., pumpkins were smashed on Devereux Street, a Jiffy John was tipped over on Treat Road, and an Obama sign was stolen on Green Street.

Swampscott

Wednesday

Josh Correnti-Wood, 18, of 44 Mountain Ave., Swampscott, and Patrick DeChillo, 17, of 7 Rockland St., Swampscott, were arrested at 3:30 p.m. and charged with marijuana possession on Redington Street by Sheridan Road.

Friday

Gregory Paul Guerette, 18, of 6 Shackle Way Apt. 6, Swampscott, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license after an incident on Essex Street.

Ruben D. Guerrero, 20, of 77 Pine St., Swampscott, was arrested at 4:13 p.m. and charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after an incident at his home.

Saturday

Felix Manuel Luna, 18, of 47 School St. Apt. 2, Roxbury, was arrested at 3:35 a.m. and charged with possession of a knife over 21âÑ2 inches, license not in possession, speeding and possession of a Class D substance after an incident on Paradise Road.

Peabody

Friday

A Longview Way woman's oven caught fire at 5:02 p.m.

A Johnson Street man told police at 7:25 p.m. that another man wearing a mask came into his driveway, held a real knife to him and said, "knock the (profanity) off." The resident speculated it may be because he had been doing picketing for a landscaper.

Police ordered vandals to wash shaving cream from cars on Dale Street at 7:59 p.m.

Someone stole the two left tires from a car at Peabody Motor Sports before 8:17 p.m., but only loosened the right tires.

At 8:21 p.m., a Christina Drive resident found someone had kicked in her back door, ransacked her house and stole cash.

Peabody police helped Lynn police get ready for a MedFlight after a woman fell off a cliff near Sunset Drive at 10:58 p.m. The helicopter ambulance took off from Carroll Savage Park.

Saturday

A man was looking for a lost wedding ring on Route 1 at 1:48 a.m. near the Holiday Inn. Police told him it wasn't safe.

At 6:09 a.m., a Linden Road man reported that someone had broken into his home to steal a $40 bottle of liquor, two antique swords worth $100 each and six shot glasses valued at $50.

A 7:35 a.m. fire on Earley Road sent two 79-year-old people to Lahey Clinic. They were released later Saturday.

Tabitha Lynn Connors, 23, of 14 Holten St., Apt. 2, Peabody, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property under $250 after a fight had been reported on Newbury Street.

A woman told police at 1:54 p.m. that she'd lost an envelope with $580 worth of cash and checks in the parking lot of Hannaford.

Sears security officers said a man had stolen about $1,000 in perfume at 3:10 p.m.

A Peabody man reported credit card fraud at 4 p.m.

Jose Pinto, 36, of 32 Iowa St., Lowell, was arrested at 5:04 p.m. and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving with an expired registration.

Adriano Dematos, 30, of 21 Central Ave., Apt. 16, Everett, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. and charged with driving without a license, defective equipment and a default warrant after a traffic stop on Route 128 south.

Thomas Webb, 37, of 1 Walker Road, Peabody, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery after an incident at his home.

Sunday

At 3:49 a.m., a Park Street resident reported that someone had broken into her apartment, pulling a carbon monoxide detector from the wall, taking the battery from it and leaving the device on the counter.

Mark Standley, 41, of 14 Arbella St., Salem, was arrested at 12:33 p.m. and charged with domestic assault after an incident at Babies "R" Us.

A Washington Street resident reported at 4:15 p.m. that paint had been dumped on her Pontiac.

Danvers

Friday

Police received a report at 8 p.m. of a car break-in at the Sheraton Ferncroft Resort.

Saturday

Ethan Case, 24, of 60 Dudley St., Chelsea, was arrested at 3:31 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and a marked lanes violation following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1. Patrolman Scott Frost made the arrest.

Salem

Saturday

Police investigated a report of a suspicious person on an MBTA bus on Loring Avenue at 10 a.m. after another passenger told police he overheard them discussing a pipe bomb. A member of the state police bomb squad and a MBTA police officer arrived on scene. The bus was inspected, and nothing was found. None of the individuals on the bus matched the description given to police.
