Swampscott

Wednesday

Police officers called for an ambulance at 10:53 a.m. after finding a Swampscott Middle School student was disruptive and out of control.

Police ticketed five illegally parked cars on Columbia Street, near the train station, at 1:36 p.m.

Officers drove someone to Humphrey Street at 2:32 p.m. to reclaim a stolen car.

Thursday

A Humphrey Street resident out of the state called at 6:25 p.m. after hearing water had been pouring from a pipe. Officers shut down the water inside the home after finding the burst pipe.

Friday

Roberto Gonzalez, 31, of 56 Margin St., Salem, was arrested at 1:01 p.m. and charged with shoplifting, larceny over $250 and larceny under $250 after an incident at Marshalls.

Salem

Wednesday

A Rainbow Terrace resident reported at 4:10 p.m. that someone had taken a digital camera, $330 worth of sneakers and a $100 necklace from his home.

The animal control officer talked with a homeless man who was leaving three dogs and a ferret in his car, which he'll warm up at 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

A Pioneer Terrace woman called police at 9:42 p.m., saying her daughter showed up with a box cutter looking for money to buy drugs. Police threw the cutter away and gave the daughter a ride to a bus stop.

Michael James Vacca, 20, of 118 Chestnut St., North Reading, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. and charged with being a disorderly person. Police were called to the train station for people who had been fighting and took down information for a report. They said when Vacca was leaving, he got loud and started yelling that he'd beat everyone up.

Thursday

A trucker told police that a dozen LED lights valued around $175 were stolen from his Peterbilt on Monday night.

At 3:04 p.m., a student at Collins Middle School found that someone had stolen her bike, which she'd locked up behind the school that morning.

Jose Eduardo Garcia, 28, of 40 Elliott St., Beverly, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. and charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without a license. He was stopped on Boston Street.

Friday

A woman told police at 12:37 a.m. that a mugger had grabbed her purse an hour earlier, then punched her in the face. She said she'd kicked him in the groin, saw him fall to the ground and then ran down Ocean Avenue to get away.

Tobias M. Allendorph, 37, of 21 Osborne St., Salem, was arrested at 7:45 a.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and threatening to kill. At 1:09 a.m., his mother's boyfriend said Allendorph accused him of mistreating his mother and started attacking him with a baseball bat. The boyfriend declined medical treatment.

At 9:27 a.m., Dunkin Donuts employees on Highland Avenue said a man came through the drive-through and accused them of giving him an old sandwich. They said the man became upset, then threatened to "break their necks" or to put glue in the sandwich and sue.

A man said he last saw his wallet on Tuesday night. He discovered $375 worth of charges from Middleton and Peabody on his debit card, and $25 from his American Express card was spent at a gas station.

A woman told police Verizon was pursuing her for a $350 bill from 2001 for phone service she'd never had.

A Sidekick cell phone was stolen from a Salem High School student.

Beverly

Wednesday

Two police cruisers were taken for maintenance around noon after the factory recalled them.

Stephen Douglas Hardy, 22, of 56 River St., Beverly, was arrested at 4:17 p.m. and charged with shoplifting after an incident reported on McKay Street.

Thursday

In the morning, residents reported cars had been broken into on Oak Street and Rezza Road.

Pamela J. Kappotis, 44, of 31 Pleasant St., Beverly, was arrested at 1:09 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and receiving stolen property after a traffic stop on Cabot Street.

Someone on Haskell Street reported that a car had been broken into before 7:41 p.m.

John Arthur Foley, 61, homeless, was arrested at 10:49 p.m. and charged with assault and battery, threatening to commit a crime, and violation of an abuse prevention order after an incident on Bow Street.

Friday

James Nally, 46, of 6 Laurel Ave., Danvers, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and following too closely after a traffic stop on Bridge Street.

Marblehead

Thursday

Police spent more than an hour investigating a domestic disturbance on Pearl Street reported at 12:28 p.m.

Raquel Guzman, 36, of 18 Pond St., Apt. 1, Marblehead, was arrested at 9:52 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon (belt) after an incident at her home.

Danvers

A Kirkbride Drive home was reported broken into at 6:33 p.m.

Friday

Benjamin Flam, 28, of 91 Westland Ave., Boston, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. and charged with operating under the influence of drugs and a marked lanes violation after a traffic stop on Andover Street.

Peabody

Thursday

Alex Mendez, 28, of 193 Washington St., Lynn, was arrested at 4:41 p.m. and charged with driving without a license and a lights violation after a traffic stop on Newbury Street.

An Ipswich woman reported at 5:59 p.m. that she'd been in a road rage incident at Central and Main streets, where two men got out of their car and started yelling and swearing at her.

A Lynnfield Street resident reported that his Baja moped had been stolen before 6:10 p.m.

A Newbury Street resident reported that a neighbor assaulted her with a knife at 6:11 p.m. Police will summons the woman to court on an assault and battery charge.

From the Northshore Mall at 8:04 p.m., police had towed for trespassing a Chevy from Revere, an Acura from Danvers, a Volkswagen from Swampscott and a Volvo from Beverly.

Firefighters cut a chain on a fence at L. Fine & Co. on Lynnfield Street at 8:10 p.m. to shut off water to a building with a burst pipe.

Someone smashed a Ford's window at 8:36 p.m. to steal a computer while the car was parked at Outback Steakhouse on Andover Street.

Harrison Mungai Ndungu, 33, of 53 Jefferson St., Lynn, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. and charged with drunken driving and a marked lanes violation after a traffic stop on Lynn Street.

Friday

Erlon Mota, 33, of 120 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Margin Street.

A man told police at 3:27 p.m. that he was worried about his mentally ill girlfriend. He went to his home to get paperwork showing he was her caregiver, then never returned. Police left after realizing everything was quiet at the Central Street address where the girlfriend may have been.

A recycling truck lost its load on Lowell Street at 7:27 a.m. Company employees worked with the Department of Public Works to clean up the mess near Columbus Road.

Friday

An Abington Avenue resident discovered someone damaged a tire on her Ford and threw coffee on it.

Luis Teixeira, 54, of 14 Prout St., Quincy, was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with driving without a license and no inspection sticker after a traffic stop on Newbury Street.
