Saturday

Police are investigating a robbery of a delivery man at 9:05 p.m. The victim told police he was making a delivery at a Hillside Avenue residence and walking back to his car, which was parked on Heritage Drive, when he was approached by two men. One of the men asked the delivery man for a light for his cigarette and, when he fished in his pocket, he was punched in the eye. The delivery man was robbed of approximately $100 in cash. One of the men is described as 5-feet-9 with a thin build and short dark hair. He was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans and had on a pair of glasses. The other man is 6 feet tall with a large build and short dark hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

Sunday

Heliomar D. Bento, 27, of 98 Broadway, Salem, was arrested at 7:32 p.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed, following a motor vehicle stop on Canal Street. Salem State campus police made the arrest.

Monday

A motorist reported to police at 9:12 a.m. that a rock flew out of a construction truck in front of the motorist and damaged the windshield. The damage happened while the vehicles were on Highland Avenue by Traders Way.

A man walking on Cherry Street reported to police at 10:55 a.m. that he was bitten by his neighbor's year-old pit bull. The dog's owner said the dog was leashed, but got away from her. The victim, who received cuts while trying to stop the dog, did not want to go to the hospital.

Susan M. Spaziani, 48, of 278 Newbury St., Peabody, was arrested at 11:08 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, having an expired inspection sticker and two counts of drug possession, following a motor vehicle stop on North Street by Osborne Street.

Police received a report at 11:30 a.m. of a 2004 Lexus GX470 that had its front tires slashed.

Monday

Police received a report at 12:16 a.m. of someone dumping garbage in a private Dumpster.

Police received a report at 10:08 a.m. that someone attempted to steal a backhoe.

Police received a report at 2:54 p.m. that a man or woman was in a sport utility vehicle on Leech Street with no pants. Police responded but the SUV was no longer there.

Police responded to a business on Sam Fonzo Drive at 10:20 p.m. to disperse approximately 50 kids who were skateboarding. The kids scooted along.

Danvers

Tuesday

Police received a report at 4:06 p.m. of a car break-in at the Marriott Courtyard on Independence Way.

Peabody

Monday

Charles W. Mason, 50, of 54 Granite St., Peabody, was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property (more than $250), following a report from a Swampscott Avenue resident who told police someone just threw a rock through his window.

Tuesday

Amanda L. Elwell, 26, of 121 Central St., Peabody, was arrested at 7 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property (more than $250), following a report of a domestic disturbance.

Michael A. Diaz, 36, of 92 Central St., Peabody, was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery at a Wallis Street address.

Police received a report at 11:36 a.m. of a car break-in on Charles Street.

Celso Lopez, 30, of 50 Marion St., Lynn, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license and unsafe lane change, following a motor vehicle stop on Sylvan Street.

Ronald C. Abrams, 62, of 26 Lincoln Park, Marblehead, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, a passing violation, misusing a handicapped-parking plate, and keeping a vehicle that does not meet RMV safety standards, following a motor vehicle stop on Paradise Road.

Janet F. Amidon, 75, of 15 Mohawk Road, Marblehead, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. and charged with drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage following a hit-and-run crash.

Monday

Paul L. Kepnes, 58, 22 Richard Road, Marblehead, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. and charged with drunken driving and driving to endanger, following a motor vehicle crash on Humphrey Street by Palmer Road. Police Lt. Matt Freeman said Kepnes was heading inbound on Humphrey Street when he crashed into a parked car near the Palmer Road intersection. There was no one inside the parked car. The parked car, which was legally parked on Humphrey Street, was pushed several feet into a driveway. Kepnes was arrested and later taken to Salem Hospital. Humphrey Street was closed for about 90 minutes while police investigated the scene and the cars removed.
