Massachusetts Firefighter of the Year Award Ceremony

Community Service Award Beverly Captain Peter O'Connor honored for is work in dealing with press relations, encouraging safety, obtaining grants for the department. Meritorious Individual Award Swampscott Firefighter Robert F. Randall honored for crawling into burning house fire last June, rescuing elderly woman, pulling her out. Governor Deval Patrick handed out awards, Kurt Schwartz Undersecretary of Public Safety and Security made announcements.
