To the editor:
Regarding your front-page story of Wednesday, May 7 ("Campus club rejected: Some feel isolated after vote against gay support group"):
How sad a school such as Gordon College would allow bigotry to pervade its campus.
Shame on the students who turned down the request to allow a non-heterosexual support group on campus and shame on the faculty for not condemning the action of the student association!
Maybe it's time for teaching tolerance at Gordon; it obviously hasn't been taught in the homes of those who find people who are gay imperfect compared to their own perfection. All they have to do is pause to look in a mirror: They'll be facing a bigot!
