Sunday, June 29, was the North Shore Arc's 12th annual Walk and Family Celebration.
Whether walking with a family or team, pushing strollers or wheelchairs, rushing to complete the route or walking slowly to help someone not so steady on their feet, the sight of these dedicated individuals is always an inspiration.
I'd like to thank our sponsors for their generous support, including: Citibank, title sponsor; Kelly's Roast Beef, lunch sponsor; and Danvers Ford and Osram Sylvania, water-stop sponsors. A special thank-you to our walk committee for all of their hard work and effort in planning this annual walk. We couldn't possibly run this event without you.
It was the first time we have been an official Danvers Family Festival event and it made the day that much more enjoyable. Thank you to the committee for welcoming us into your family.

Another tasty way you can support the North Shore Arc is by visiting Cakes For Occasions in Danvers during the month of July. They will be selling specialty cupcakes and donating $1 of every cupcake sold to the Arc.
