Letter: Columnist in danger of being left behind
To the editor:
Columnist Robert Kelly has a problem. He's bent out of shape worrying about Obama's "change" and whether those changes will be good or bad.
Can things be any worse for America's middle class and those on the bottom rungs in the economic pecking order after eight years of his friends "Dubya" and Dick "The Marksman" Cheney, also known as "Traitor Dick" for betraying CIA agent Valerie Plame?
Not to worry, Mr. Kelly: Barack Obama is not a miracle worker, but he is very intelligent, and will surround himself not with "yes" men and women, but people of substance who will give him good counsel to make the right decisions to put our nation back on sound footing so it is once again the beacon of hope the whole world is waiting for.
I'm just back from the Far East and it's so encouraging to see how excited and enthused people are there about our president-elect.
It's time to get on the bandwagon, Mr. Kelly, or be left behind and continue to be negative!
