WENHAM - Mary G. (Gates) Holland, 96, wife of the late Timothy H. Holland died Monday, Jan. 31, 2008 at Caldwell Nursing Home in Ipswich.

Born in Marshfield, daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Ellen (Stapleton) Gates, She lived in Beverly Farms for many years and also resided in Hamilton and Wenham. Mrs. Holland was employed on various estates in the area and was retired. She was a gentle and kind woman who loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
