PEABODY - Laurie (Granger) Powell of West Peabody, born Aug. 30, 1920 in Worcester, died peacefully at Rosewood Nursing and Rehab Center on Thursday, March 29, 2007. She was the widow of Robert M. Powell who died in 1985.
Laurie was the beloved mother of Mary-Ellen of Hartford, Conn.; Nancy of Marblehead; and Kathleen and Margaret of Arlington. She was the grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of five.
