Quick questions with Chris Bourque and Cory Schneider

By Matt Williams

WORCESTER — A quick Q and A with Hershey Bears forward Chris Bourque of Boxford (via Boston University) and Manitoba Moose goaltender Cory Schneider of Marblehead (formerly of Boston College).

Who's better musically: Bruce Springsteen or U2?

Chris: U2. It's funny you ask, because I just recently got turned on to Springsteen. But I saw U2 at the Garden a few years ago and they've been one of my favorites ever since.

Cory: I'm not really a big fan of either, but I'd say U2.

Who's winning this year's Beanpot?

Chris: BU. Every year.

Cory: BC, of course. Chris will say BU, but he only went there one year so I don't really count him as a BU guy.

If you were NHL commissioner for a day, what would you change?

Chris: The League's running really smoothly, so I wouldn't change anything.

Cory: It's pretty good the way it is right now; not much.

Do you like the USA/World vs. Canada all-star format, or would you rather have an East vs. West format?

Chris: This (USA/World vs. Canada) is actually pretty cool, because there are a lot of guys I played World Juniors with (for Team USA) in the room. It makes it a fun weekend.

Cory: It's a little unconventional (this way), but it gets guys from all over the world involved so I'd stick with it.
