RADIO SPORTS Peabody High soccer and tennis star Greg Doonan, this year's Salem News Student-Athlete of the Year and a monthly winner of the Moynihan Lumber Student-Athlete program, will be one of the featured guests on tomorrow's "North Shore Sports Desk" from 8-9 a.m. on radio station North Shore 104.9 FM. Dave Jellerson, the architect behind the unprecedented success of the Beverly High girls track and field program, will also be on the show, as will Manchester Essex three-sport standout Annie Osborne, as well as Gary Larrabee with news from the North Shore golf world. Trivia and prizes will be awarded during the show, and calls are welcome throughout the hour at 1-800-370-1049. Salem News sports editor Phil Stacey and North Shore 104.9 FM Sports Director Pete Kelley are the show's co-hosts. ROAD RACING The Lynnfield Athletic Association's 42nd annual 5K road race will be held tomorrow from town hall at 55 Summer St. in Lynnfield. Registration is from 7:30-8:45 a.m. and the race will begin at 9 a.m. The cost will be $20 and there will also be a 2-mile fun walk that will cost $5 a person or $10 per family. YOUTH FOOTBALL The Beverly Panthers Football Youth Skills Clinic will take place July 6-10 at Beverly High School. The clinic, led by Beverly head coach Dan Bauer, is available to kids in grades 2-7. The cost is $95, with registration taking place through the Beverly Parks and Recreation Dept. LACROSSE Long-time coach and Peabody lacrosse supporter Bill Heckman will be honored at the Boston Cannons game on July 18 at Harvard Stadium. Tickets are $20 for a game ticket and pre-game tailgate barbeque.
