RUGBY

The North Shore Rugby Football Club has partnered with the town of Danvers to introduce the sport of rugby to the communities of the North Shore, through summer tag rugby where the fundamental skills of the game are introduced. Summer tag rugby registration is for boys and girls ages 8-16 in Danvers and surrounding areas and will cost $60. The registration for can be found at www.danversrec.com. ROAD RACE

The Lynnfield Athletic Association's 42nd annual 5K road race will be held on Saturday, July 4 from town hall at 55 Summer St. in Lynnfield. Registration is from 7:30-8:45 a.m. and the race will begin at 9 a.m. The cost will be $20 and there will also be a 2-mile fun walk that will cost $5 a person or $10 per family. Proceeds from the race and walk go towards supporting high school athletic programs and scholarships. For more information visit marylou.oconnor@proforma.com.

YOUTH FOOTBALL

The Beverly Panthers Football Youth Skills Clinic will take place July 6-10 at Beverly High School. The clinic, led by Beverly head coach Dan Bauer, is available to kids in grades 2-7. The cost is $95, with registration taking place through the Beverly Parks and Recreation Dept.

The North Shore Youth Player Development Program will be held from July 20-24 from 9:00-12:30 p.m. at Beverly High School. The cost of the program is $50 and is available to ages 11-14. FOOTBALL

The All-American Showcase, a non-padded combine and skills tutorial for high school athletes looking to demonstrate their talents for prospective local and national college and prep institutions, will be held July 18 at Chelsea High, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Former Arena League player Sean Stellato is the director.
