Area roundup: Endicott serves up win over Ramapo

Endicott 6, Ramapo 3: The Gulls swept doubles play behind the pairs of Oliver Joggi/Jake Cohen, Ben Randlett/Eric Gandrup and Michael Doplh/Evan Ross to win their second match of the week in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Ross, Timothy Forance and Gandrup also won singles matches as Endicott improved to 2-3 on the season.

MIT 9, Salem State 0: The Vikings (0-3) fell on the road in Cambridge.


Colby 16, Endicott 4: Lauren Todd and Kelly Tierney each had a goal and an assist but the Mules, ranked No. 6 nationally, proved too much for the Gulls (2-3) to handle on the road. Holly Davis and Caitlin Pratt also scored goals.


Gulls drop two: Endicott (0-10) fell to Otterbein, 4-2, and Springfield, 7-3, to wrap up their season opening trip to Kissimmee, Florida. Ipswich native Kelley Michael drove in two runs for the Gulls and Alexandra Moise also notched an RBI.


Amherst 5, Endicott 2: The Lord Jeffs scored three times in the sixth to hand the Gulls (4-1) their first loss of the season in Florida. Jon Branch gave Endicott seven strong innings on the hill and three of Amherst’s runs were unearned. Michael Cahill and Harry Oringer had RBI for Endicott and seven players had hits.
