One of six Beverly players named to the NEC's all-star team, Bailey helped lead the Orange and Black to a 9-1 mark this fall, including wins in their last six contests. This marks the second straight season that the 5-foot-71/2, 160-pound Bailey has been named a league MVP; he was a co-Offensive MVP for the conference last season.
Bailey shared the MVP award with Winthrop senior quarterback James Fucillo, who led Winthrop to an unbeaten regular season (11-0), its second straight NEC championship and a berth in tonight's Division 2A semifinal playoff game against Masconomet.
