Tom Marini had four hits and drove in four runs as Danvers' offensive explosion dumped North Andover. Larry Saggese and John Gikas each had two hits and a pair of RBI while Steve Blanchette also clubbed two hits. Pitcher Zack Ryan struck out four and recorded the win.
Lawrence 3, Peabody 2
Peabody got just four hits as multiple runners left on base came back to bite them in a close game. Pat Yeo doubled and scored a run while Mark Finnochio also crossed the plate. Mark Linehan got the start for Peabody and pitched well while Brian Latorella tossed three scoreless innings in relief.

Northeast girls claim bronze medal
Danvers' Brittany Russo had a goal and an assist as the Northeast girls' soccer entry upended Coastal 3-0 Sunday to win a Bay State Games bronze medal. Swampscott's Erin Langon also scored and Danvers' Erin Datoli recorded a helper.
Other locals contributing to the cause were Elizabeth Burgess (Danvers), Monique Gallant (Salem), Caitlyn Clark (Masconomet), Ashley McKenelley (Masconomet), Skylar Sabbag (Swampscott), Bianca Gallo (Bishop Fenwick) and Rebecca Grace (Bishop Fenwick).

Rowley 5, Beverly 0
Rowley's Matt Warden strung together a three-hit complete game shutout to take the wind out of Beverly's sails. Rowley scored all five of its runs with two outs in the bottom of the fifth as Kyle Sewyck took the loss for Beverly (7-9-1) while allowing only two earned runs over 42/3 innings.
