Amesbury 10, Manchester 5: The Hornets had a solid day at the dish with Craig Carter going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI and Kevin Carter going 2-for-3 with one RBI. Corey Burnham added a double and scored two runs and Sean Desmond hit a 2-run homer.

Danvers 3, Malden Catholic 2: Brian Daly and Jimmy McCarriston rallied to win No. 1 doubles 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 to deliver the Falcons the match win. Top singles players Nick Lisichenok (6-2, 6-2) and Gabe Ochonski (6-1, 6-0) won in straight sets as Danvers climbed over the .500 mark at 8-7 overall.

Boston Latin 3, Marblehead 2: With three matches going to three sets, the Magicians (14-2) lost a tight non-league contest. Miles Barry won in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and top doubles team Jason Frost and Dimitri Vlassov also won in three, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6.

Ipswich 3, Newburyport 2: Ryan Davis was victorious as third singles, winning his set 6-3-, 6-1) as the Tigers improve to 5-7. Ipswich swept in doubles action with wins from Murali Prasad/Anton Eden (6-2, 6-1) and Forest Finn/Sam Benford (6-3, 6-2).

Danvers 6, Marblehead 1: Sophomore Caitlin McBride went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs as Danvers (14-0) remained unbeaten and clinched another NEC South championship. Tori Costa also had a hit and pitcher Kendall Meehan struck out seven and allowed four hits and two walks to remain undefeated on the hill.

Shawsheen 11, North Shore Tech 2: Sophomore catcher Christine Casio led the team with two hits and two RBI as the Bulldogs move to 10-6. Katelyn Guerin and Krystal Dion each contributed with a hit each, while Kaera Wyse has 10 strikeouts in the loss.

Danvers 5, Lynn English 0: Jen Lueke and Kelley McCarthy won in three sets at No. 2 doubles, 3-6, 6-4, 7-1, as Danvers (9-5) completed the sweep. Ellen Gagnon and Raquel Leslie won at No. 1 doubles while Rachel Ziner (6-1, 6-1), Sam Vocatura (6-1, 6-1) and Deana Dalkouras (6-0, 6-2) took care of the singles action.
