Beverly 35, Revere 32: The Panthers improved to 7-9 after last night’s hard-fought battle on the road. Bridget Keaton led all scorers with 13 points while Olivia George added seven.
Arlington Catholic 62, Bishop Fenwick 39: Sophomore Colleen Corcoran earned a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds in last night’s loss. Kate Lipka totaled nine points, two blocks and three steals, while Gianna Pizzano added six points and four assists. Sydney Brennan finished with seven points for the Crusaders (9-8).
North Shore Tech/Essex Aggie 51, Northeast Metro 26: Junior Katlyn Guerin scored a game-high 11 points to lead the Hawks (9-9) offensively. Junior Cora Clement and senior Kaera Wyse added nine in the win.
Danvers 44, Pentucket 24: The Falcons ended their dual meet season at 11-5 after getting wins in seven different weight classes. Ben Pat (106 pounds), Michael Neff (113), Chris Davis (120), Dylan Fountain (126), Quinn Holland (145), Sam Anderson (152) and Kyle Warren (160) all secured mat victories for Danvers.
St. John’s Prep wins three races: The Eagles recently defeated Haverhill (133-2), Austin Prep (132-3) and Andover (109 1/2 to 25 1/2) at Bradford Ski Area to finish the regular season unbeaten. Joe Cavallaro (19.91 seconds), Peter Griffin (20.15), Cael Schwartz (20.32), Chase Davis (20.35) and Jake Connelly (20.42) took the top five spots in the victory over Haverhill. Against Austin Prep and Andover, the Eagles were led by Ryan Carlucci in first place (20.83 seconds), Cavallaro in second (20.84), Griffin in third (20.94), Patrick McDermott in fourth (21.16) and Bobby Holmes in fifth (21.22).
Endicott 3, Regis 0: The Gulls swept in straight sets (25-12, 25-16, 25-15) to improve to 3-2-1 on the season. Sophomore outside hitter John Osborne tallied nine kills and contributed defensively with four digs. Senior captain Carter Roche paced the offense through two sets with 23 assists.
WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Westfield State 67, Salem State 50: Junior Rachael Carter (seven rebounds) led all scorers with 27 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Vikings drop to 10-12 on the season. Ginny Flemming (Peabody) added 15 points and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.
