BASEBALL
The Danvers American Little League will be offering a fall baseball league designed to be more of a relaxed atmosphere where player development and fun are emphasized. The league is for Little League age groups 8-11 based upon the Little League age from this past season. There will be no practices, and games will be played Saturday mornings from Sept. 11 through Oct. 30 with no games being held on Columbus Day. MSO Web Radio at www.moorestuffonline.com will webcast the Swampscott at Gloucester game live on the Internet this Friday at 7 p.m., with the pregame show at 6:15; and the Concord-Carlisle at Beverly football game Saturday at 1 p.m., with the pregame show at 12:15.
FOOTBALL
Ipswich High will be rededicating the field at Jack Welch Stadium in honor of Paul F. Doyon on Sept. 24. A ceremony will take place that evening at 6:45 p.m. before the varsity football game against Newburyport. CHEERLEADING
