GOLF
The 2nd annual Beverly High Basketball Golf Outing will be held Monday, Aug. 9 at Beverly Golf &Tennis Club, with registration at 12:30 p.m. and a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Cost is $120 per player for this 18-hole scramble format. Prizes include closest to the pin, longest drive, hole-in-one, and teams that finish in first, second and third place. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, and a dinner/social will follow the golf tournament. The annual Roy C. Norden Golf Outing will be held Friday, Aug. 13 at Beverly Golf & Tennis Club. Sign in takes place at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start to follow at 7:30 p.m. Price is $125 per player and includes golf, cart, prizes and lunch. FUNDRAISER
Kathryn Percy of Marblehead and the Northshore Navigators will host a fundraiser on Thursday, July 29. Proceeds from the sale of tickets for that night's game, at 6:15 p.m. at Fraser Field in Lynn, will support Percy's team, "Kitty's Kool Kats," when they participate in the JDRF Boston walk for the Cure. Kathryn Percy suffers from type 1 diabetes. Concessions, a bouncy house, and 50/50 raffle will be available at the game. Tickets are $6. VOLLEYBALL
The Poles Volleyball Camp, directed by St. John's Prep coach Andrew Viselli, will be held Aug. 2-6 at Stoneham High, from 8-10 a.m. for introduction to the sport, and from 10 a.m.-noon for varsity volleyball. The cost is $200 per player or $300 for both sessions, with checks made payable to Stoneham High athletics. Register at Stoneham High. CHEERLEADING
Yellow Jackets All-Stars in Danvers will be holding a cheerleading camp the weeks of Aug. 2-6 and Aug. 16-20, both from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost of each camp is $75.
Also, Yellow Jackets will be holding tumbling classes every Monday from 6-7:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 2. Cost of the tumbling classes is $65 per month or $15 per class.

The 24th annual Tony Porcello/Peabody Rec Dept. baseball camp for boys and girls ages 5-12 will be held the weeks of August 2, 9 and 16 at Emerson Park in Peabody. The cost is $40 per week.
