Emmarose Winder, Brittany Smith and Emma Brophy had the goals for Marblehead (3-2-2) while Sydney Cresta had a pair of assists.
Marblehead 100, Lynn Classical 72: The Marblehead (3-0) 200 medley relay team of Charlie Seltzer, Thomas Rockett, Ryan Caliri and Zack Michaels won and qualified for sectionals. The foursome also won the 200 freestyle relay. Slezter also had first place finishes in the 100 backstroke (56.60) and the 100 freestlye (49.38) while Caliri also topped the 100 butterfly (1:01.82). Ryan Alexander won the 200 free (2:06.04), Kylie Cronin captured the 200 IM (2:19.25), Chris Rodts was first in the 50 free (26.24) and Jake Driscoll won diving while Cronin, Ellie Ronin, Hannah Verrette and Haley Olson won the 400 freestyle relay.
Peabody 100, Salem 79: The Tanners improve to 1-1 on the season as Christine Shea doubled in the 200 IM and 100 breast and made the state cut in both. Alex Strakosha placed first in the 200 free and 100 butterfly, Cailin Currie won the 500 free, Meghan Lurvey took the 100 back and Paige Hayward won diving. Peabody also won the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.
The Witches (0-2-1) remained resilient as sophomore Reshelle Venico qualified for states in her first place finish in the 50 free (26.97). Kevin Cline was first in the 100 free (56.13), while Melissa Trainor, Betty Gluckman, Grace Theriault and Venico won the 200 free relay and made the sectional cut.
North Shore Tech/Essex Aggie 48, Lynn Tech 21: Junior Katlyn Guerin netted a game-high 14 points while senior Kaera Wyse finished with seven points to lead the way for the Hawks (3-2).
Beverly 73, Revere 13: The Panthers (3-0) won nine out of the 10 events, including a double win from senior captain Kristen O’Connor (high jump, 5-1; high hurdles, 7.6). Caitlin Harty captured first in the 300 (44.5), Nicole Demars won the 1000 (3:13) and Mave Monahan was first in the 2 mile (12:38).
Marblehead 85, North Shore Tech 1: Paige Ferrucci (600, 1:46.5) and Lily Cummings (high jump, 5-2) won their respective events and made the state cut with their times. Kat Huber (1000, 3:25.9), Anna Barrell (mile, 5:52.6), Olivia Vener (hurdles) and Alyssa Nye (55 dash) all had first place finishes for the Magicians (4-0).
