Weekend area roundup: Prep's Dombrowski wins shot put at Dartmouth Relays



Gordon 71, Salve Regina 70: Alex Carnes hit a pair of free throws with seven seconds left to lift the Scots (6-6) on the road. Hans Miersma scored 20 points for the winners and also grabbed eight rebounds while Carnes had a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards. Park Thomas scored 12 for Gordon, which rallied from five points down at the half.

Endicott 86, Curry 82: Max Motroni dropped in 19 points in just 21 minutes, including 11 from the free throw line, to help Endicott (11-2) hold off Curry on the road. Andre Markis had 15 points, John Henault scored 11 and Greg Jacques scored 11 to pace the balanced Gulls.


Salve Regina 70, Gordon 52: Clancey Adams was 4-for-4 on three pointers and scored 12 points but Gordon (5-8) couldn’t stop Salve from getting hot from the floor in the second half. Brooke Kratche had a team-best 14 points for the Fighting Scots.

Endicott 74, Curry 58: Samantha Crough had a team-best 17 points to power Endicott (9-3) to a conference win on the road. Katelyn Wright chipped in 14 points while Julia Manning had 15 off the bench and Kelsey Cuddy also had 15.


Gordon stumbles: The Scots men and women had their six-meet winning streak snapped by Babson on Saturday. Katherine Zablocki won the 50-breast for Gordon while Emily David was first in the 50-free and the 50-butterfly. Dean Drukker won the 500-free for the men.
