Endicott 14, Middlebury 12: Junior midfielder Jeremy Morgan had a career game to power the Gulls past NESCAC heavyweight Middlebury yesterday. Morgan pumped in six goals and added one assist to help Endicott improve to 6-2 overall.Cameron Bell stood out in goal, stopping 16 shots. Beverly’s Nick Pinciaro scored a pair of goals, as did Harrison Cotter while Colin Bannon had one goal and two assists. Kyle Weber, Peter Erickson and Chris Murphy also scored goals for the Gulls.Tommy Hughes stood out at the faceoff X, scooping 13 ground balls.
Salem State Splits: Freshman Francesca Perreault went the distance to earn her first collegiate win and helped Salem State bounce back from an opening game loss as the Vikes beat Curry, 3-1, in the second game of a twin bill. First inning RBI from Jenn Touissaint (three hits) and Paige Fleming powered Salem’s offense and Perreault did the rest, allowing six baserunners with no walks. Cara Crowley and Michele Flower each had three hits. Salem State (4-8) fell 4-3 in the first game with Crowley and Toussaint collecting RBI and Lauren DiCredico striking out five.
